Congratulations Kristin! I’m absolutely thrilled to watch your Substack grow! I’m one of your biggest fans! 💖💗💖
I’m finally finding time this week to play catch-up reading, and engage in discussions. I’m not sure where the time goes, but it goes. My babysitting duties which are just a few hours each evening for a little girl whose parents doctors) work late into the evenings, so I have a part time job caring for a charming little 5year old. This last week her parents were in Italy, so my hours were longer. So finally I’m finding more time again. Days just fly by!
Congratulations, Kristin. The number of people you have probably helped with your posts probably outnumbers your subscribers and that says a lot. Keep writing, my friend.
So exciting 🙌🏻 Congratulations Kristin! Love the pictures, love the pie! and looking forward to more from you 💫.
I'm about to greet the boss of the family, who shows up always with a Minnie Mouse purse, huge Nana hug and lots to talk about. So I'll be back tonight. Hope you're having a peaceful day. oxox
Thank you. One of my Substack friends Deb reignited my love of photography. Many years ago I wanted to be a photojournalist and so recently started adding photos to my articles. One of those ways I find joy in hard times 🙂
That's so awesome! My husband wanted to be a photographer. I keep saying he should get a stack here. I've been adding more of my photos here. Liminal photos are my latest thing
That’s Linus! He was a first timer and random trail pup. I took 25 instagram worthy selfies for his twenty-something new owner and told her to get the dog his own Insta! Lol! That’s me in a nutshell 😂
Aussies are such camera whores. Stanley, the one I had before Siobhan, was a showoff. If it were him and me at the park with the frisbee, he would do the bare minimum, but if a pretty girl was around, he would catch the thing 6’ in the air after doing a barrel roll. And ‘accidentally’ drop it as he passed her, then look up at her with ice-blue eyes, like, “You want to get that for me?” Best wingman ever.
Siobhan is a COVID baby, so she never had a chance to be socialized. My wife and I are sheep, and everyone else is a wolf.
Also I’m rereading and feel like that story about Stanley with the frisbee, may be partly based on your imagination. Just saying writers have very vivid imaginations even when they’re writing non fiction.
Well Geno if you were my patient standing in front of me, I’d say you and your wife did what was best for you. We all only ever make the best decisions with the information we have on hand . I know your story, your reasons and I certainly know mine. Then we’d talk about our love of dogs and I’d crack you up and tell you to stay married, it’s wild out here!! ❤️
You’re a-ok Kristin, a-ok. Sometimes the simplest accomplishments are the most satisfying. Congrats on your successes - all of ‘em
Thank you Ken! You know I ate that entire tomato pie after hiking yesterday and I’m proud of this!
Proud to be one of the 200! Also, I love that you have chosen to publish on random days.
Thank you! I think it keeps it interesting, life is so very unpredictable and I love it. ❤️
