Oh, I loved this one. 2020 was when my world broke apart and now I'm living a much improved life.

I have never been to Asseteague, which is a shame because I live in Virginia. Guess I'd better add it to my bucket list!

That would be correct then, never right or wrong. Unless of course we’re talking about a turn in a motor vehicle there’s no such thing as a right or wrong turn.

Dangerous curves though 😜

Yes! That’s such a great explanation!

am writing about ‘identical twins today’ - oh yes i am ! And you fit the bill ‘perfectly’ as a sort of ‘working model - re One of the Two.. They’re both ‘specialists - hardcore - But aside from their ‘business specialty - they Do Have Personal Lives - though neither have married or have children. Both are Post Grad - Research Specialists in Very Closely Related but Differing Fields of Study

All my Fiction is ‘rooted in Reality - (my life experience - neverending curiosity & interest in factual & applied research are icing on the cake !) Thus when a volunteer such as yourself simply ‘illuminates how Fact can be ‘somewhat Stranger than Fiction .. haha ‘take heed .. oh yes I do !

But I’ve met, shot, interviewed many ‘nurses akin to you Kristin .. so hardly a stretch for a documentary artist & shooter such as myself ! Had a nearby neighbour - 2 doors away - truly gracious & we hit it off instantly - despite her overbearing husband who I was there to meet - at his request .. ‘they’ hired me - ‘Reality Advisor’ & i picked up clues by osmosis .. she was/is a Seriously Skilled Healthcare Practitioner - but will skip for now the ensuing 30 year relationship - Business & Neighbours & far beyond Generous Friends

Will shortly write - initially - one ‘memoir styling’ among the many we shared - the three of us..

Have you laughin in sheer astonishment - but others who know me - knew them - will recognize the ‘tale as absolutely TRUE ! Will give you fair warning - & re the Fictional Twins too ! 🦎🏴‍☠️🎬

Oh I cannot wait to read about the twins! I’ve been in sort of a funk lately, distracted and not keeping up with my reading! Someone actually said my life seemed like a reality tv show? I’m looking for a program now to study healthcare anthropology (more than I already have lol) and plan to focus on the traditional meaning of nurse. Facts vs legend and folklore. Thanks Thomas I am always entertained and delighted by your comments in the best sort of way. 😊

will ‘warm up today re - the nurse almost next door .. I need to be careful - This will be a ‘memoir styling - told to me while I was there .. minutes behind the police & detectives .. others know of this tale but will also have heard a ‘retelling - as I did haha - firsthand in situ ! So t ‘speak.. 🦎🏴‍☠️ will ‘Notarize it & tag you

Thank you, this makes me happy. It’s a popular Buddhist saying I believe. Less popular than fall down seven times, stand up 8… I don’t use that one anymore but I used to love it. 💡

By the way, the snake is my tribute to my sometimes kundalini yoga practice.

2 things - first, is this a small case of “hindsight is the best foresight” ? When you speak of the pain being an understatement and now you see it as growth. You had no way to know or realize it then as it was happening and just had to deal and suffer as it happened, yet in the end it made you stronger and maybe more importantly - wiser. If you knew then what you do now, maybe things feel different? Maybe it was just part of growing as a person. I don’t know, maybe I’m out in left field on that…just the thought that came across. But you can say it all worked out, no ?

Second, in all your pics, I notice you always have a smile. It tells me you are at peace with who and where you are, in spite of what you gone through. I get the impression you have an appreciation for the hurdles, lessons learned and all the crap that has made you the dedicated nurse as well as the quality human being you are.

Of course Ken, all great questions and I’m going to answer today. There’s always an element of hindsight is 20/20- that’s the subtitle of my first piece. I thought I wrote an essay than I joined a book club. 😂

I definitely couldn’t pinpoint when the shift occurred, only tell you that once the perception is shifted on such a monumental scale it’s not possible to return to “before”

The problem for me specifically was that that horrible year was absolutely normal. Thanks for sharing your thoughts, I’m glad you get the picture. 💛

So many changes ahead with this new season in school year. I love the Asseteague (sp too lazy to check) photos. One of my favorite places that and Chincoteague

Mine too it had been years since I went, at least 10 and I was happy to see the ponies were still there and the island hasn't lost any of its magic. Change is always inevitable. Maybe next year I'll bring the tomato pie and meet you in Chincoteague? I haven't been there yet.

Sounds like a plan unless the horses eat it lol. Last time they were trying to eat everything in sight. It was so cool to see them. Colonial Williamsburg is nice too. My husband and son are history buffs but I loved it too

That’s awesome! I am too. I decided one day that if I could meet strange men from internet dating apps in real life for a cup or coffee then I could absolutely meet a woman for a tomato pie at a beach. Haha. So I’m not sure if it sounds strange but my offer is true and that’s my philosophy

Why not! My husband met up with cycling friends that way, because his bike travels with us everywhere. I made sure they weren't hot girls lol. Actually that's didn't cross my mind.haha.

We usually go to Cape May of Chincoteague but have been too the beaches up and down New Jersey like Beach Haven.

Omg I am lmao at the hot girls comment! Facts! 💯

Yeah I would love to work it out. The only beaches I’m far from are Cape May and Wildwood. All the other beaches are roughly an hour from me. Rob will probably have a fit when he sees this and he will see it, so he might have to tag along. He’s not used to my crazy ass yet. Sounds like you and your husband know each other pretty well though. Love it! ❤️❤️

We usually go to Cape May, but last year went to Wildwood Crest ( a vacation with-in our budget. Almost didn't go away this summer

Not sure where we are going this summer. Who knows?
